My Fireman Kai

A few weeks ago our fire department was earning money for burn victims.
We were happy to help and to have fun.

Kai is kind of obsessed with Firemen/firetrucks/fire...etc.
And after seeing all they do, I think I am a little obsessed too.
But mostly thankful.

Kai wasn't too sure about these clowns.  I wasn't either...old men in clown suits kinda freak me out :)

He loved to use the extinguisher and was obsessed with the helicopter.  It actually took off while we were there (I was kinda stoked).

I love my little munchkins.  And I am so thankful for activities to do while our Daddy has to sleep.

Kai...I've decided you can become a fireman on only one condition.  You can't go anywhere near a fire.  Deal?

My little Valentines.

I love my little Valentines.
They are my life.
And I am so glad they are mine.
p.s. I also love my BIG valentine but he knows that already :)

Today it was just me and the kiddos.
Logan works graveyards so he sleeps until he leaves for school and then goes straight to work.
aka. we never see him.

Anyways we had a day of adventures.
We started our the best way possible. Heart shaped chocolate chip pancakes.

Avery kept showing me the pancake, as if to ask, "Are you sure I can eat this"...and she was happy that today was her lucky day :)

Kai was so thankful for all of his Valentines day treats.  Throughout the whole day he would randomly hug me and say "thank you so much for my firetruck" or "mom, thank you for my card". It was sweet.  I needed that.  And Avery just wanted to play with every wrapper she could find....I should have just given her trash for V-day...it would have been cheaper :)

 Yep, it's official...I'M OBSESSED!!

Making hearts was so much fun.  Kai loves to color and can tell you what every scribble is supposed to be.
I was then able to take the kids to the children's museum.  Kai had a BLAST!! I seriously had to drag him out of there.

Avery loved to climb up everything!!! And she was not going to let ANYONE treat her like a baby!

Look at that tush!! Seriously she has the biggest bum I have ever seen :) and I love every second of it!

The rest of our day consisted of naps, heart sandwiches, heart pizza for dinner and cookies. Then a much needed bath and off to bed.

I am now in sweats and a t-shirt blogging...and Logan is working.

Not exactly the most glamorous way to spend my Valentines Night.

But who wants to be glamorous anyway :)

A "WICKED" good time!

My sister is Amazing. She really is.
It's kind of special how my sister can be one my best friends.
I love her.

Anyway
This weekend she surprised me with one of my BIGGEST dreams..
..WICKED..
Heather has been a few times so I have listened to her CD's over and over.
I knew every song but could only imagine what was actually happened.

I was floored.
If my voice wasn't STILL gone from having the flu I would have screamed.
But I think my jumping did the trick!
 Yep..just a little excited!

Our first stop was a fancy dinner.  Burger King? Long Story.  But this face is a mixture of disgusting food, awkward surroundings (thanks SF) and so much more. (Literally I can give you an earful about this experience...I'll spare you this time.)

Seriously??!!?? SO SO EXCITED!!!

Already checking on my babies (Logan included) before the play even started.

Those who know Heather (my sister) and I know that we are OPPOSITE personalities.  Heather is a daredevil and in front of people I'm super shy.  Any way...all she wanted was a picture with me on the stairs and i was mortified.  So I joked that it was her turn now, and she had to lay on the stairs in front of EVERYONE.  Joke? Dare? Whatever it was, Heather delivered.

We couldn't take pictures inside but seriously the play was better than I could have ever imagined. The acting, singing, costumes....AMAZING! I laughed, cried, (coughed), laughed some more and THOROUGHLY enjoyed myself.  My company was the best too...Heather and I are such a great pair!

Thank you Heath for an amazing Sisters night out.. I loved it and I love you!  And thank you hubby's for watching the munchkins.
