Ready?...OR NOT!!

I have been extra emotional these last few days thinking of all of our "lasts" as a family of three.  In many ways, I know Kai's life is about to change in a really great way....but I can also think of the many ways that he may not like the change, and it makes me feel really guilty and sad, but I am just hoping he will adjust well.

Anyways...this was our "last" weekend and so we tried to spend as much time together as possible.  We took Kai to the dinosaur museum, and he loved it for about 2 seconds, then all he wanted to do was play on the elevator...that was worth it right?? Not so much. (Thankfully we took lots of pictures during those 2 seconds!!)

Here we are...my last belly picture.  I have gained 21 lbs and I am almost a 3.  I am feeling this baby A LOT lower than Kai, but hopefully that will help for a fast delivery.  If little Avery is not here by Thursday than we will be induced, which was not my first choice, but thankfully it worked great with Kai's labor. So ready or not here we come!!

Our "last" Sunday together as a family of 3.  I sure do love my boys a lot....but we are so excited to meet our new addition!!

It is so weird to think that my baby is growing up and that he will soon be the big boy in our house.  Kai is such a little character and loves to make anyone and EVERYONE laugh at him.

 He loves to color these days...and although I am sure it will change, he is just like Mommy writing with his left hand.

Kai is all boy and I love every second of it...when it comes to cars, balls, and dirt, we take life very seriously!!

LOVELY LADIES!!

I love these two ladies...like A LOT! And I decided I needed to praise them once again...so here it goes....

My Mom is the kindest woman I know.  She is always the first to help a friend and the LAST to complain.  My Mom gives 100% of her energy to her religion and family.  She is loving, thoughtful and very caring.  My Mom will talk to me 10x a day if that is what I need and will listen when I just need a friend to talk to.  She gives amazing hugs and even better back rubs :)  My Mom makes me feel at home, no matter where I am and makes me feel loved no matter what!  I love you so much and just wanted you to know that your kindness DOES NOT go unnoticed!!

Now on to my seester.  Isn't she gorgeous?!?  Well for those of you who have not had the privilege to meet this woman...you should really fix that!  Heather is the strongest woman I know...she has been through it all and somehow keeps going with a positive attitude and a smile on her face.  Heather is also one of the most patient Mom's I know, when I finish talking to her, I always leave with a ton of things I want to work on (but after ten minutes Kai is already back on time out, hahaha).  She is compassionate, loving and SOOO hardworking.  She tries so hard to make jokes...which makes them that much funnier...and she is a master maker of cupcakes :) I love you Heath...I love our talks, laughs and moments where we are both about to lose it!!...basically I just love your face!!

These women are my best friends on earth...how lucky it is that they just happen to be my family!!

P.S. I swear we have seen each other since my wedding, but we just always seem to be taking pics of the kiddos instead :) soon enough we will have a MUCH NEEDED girls trip!!

37 Weeks!!!

I just got home from the Dr and I was SOOO excited to find out that I am strep B negative. I was positive with Kai, which meant I had to have an IV of meds the whole labor, and unfortunately I had an awful reaction to them that hurt worse than the actual contractions. So anyway, this was the BEST NEWS EVER!

Little Avery is looking good and almost ready to make her debut...I still can't believe I am now full term...CRAZY!! I am 37 weeks but she is measuring 38 weeks so we will see when she comes, but I am actually so much more patient this time around...probably because I know it will be a little insane with 2 under the age of 2.

My days have gotten super busy with checkins, but thankfully it just helps me to keep moving. I have gained 22 lbs and feel very large but thankfully Avery's little movements are much more "KIND and gentle" than Kai's were :) My back pains seems to be getting worse, but the contractions are still pretty subtle, so its all good!

So that's it for now...SOOO excited for all the awesome things to come!!

SORRY?

Saying "sorry" is harder than it looks...it's not that Kai doesn't attempt to say sorry but for some reason it comes out "hi" and that is all we can get him to say. We will keep trying, but for now, we will take what we can get :)

Days with Dad

Poor Kai has gotten used to having only one parent during checkins and checkouts because I am SWAMPED!! Thankfully he has a pretty awesome Dad who will take him on bike rides, park days and of course LOTS of running outside...which he LOVES!

HA HA HA HA!!! I know all too well how true this is...I have the bruises to prove it. Thank you floor for always being there for me :)

Easter

Meeting the Easter Bunny this year was a MUCH happier experience than last year...instead of wanting to run from him, Kai thought it was funny to reveal to all the other kids that he saw someone inside..hahaha!

So although Kai was a little (I REALLY MEAN BIG) stinker at church it was so fun to watch him get excited over the simple things. AND we really couldn't have ended the day any better than having dinner with the Turners...we Love them...ALOT!!

What a Beautiful Day!

Yesterday was SUCH a beautiful day! When I wasn't doing white glove/checkouts we spent all our time outside. Rexburg must have wanted to show us that we shouldn't get too excited because today I woke up to snow...and lots of it :(

Because of this I knew I had to post our amazing day with our amazing weather!!

Kai and David have a really amazing friendship.. they just love to be around each other and beg to see each other at church, its pretty dang sweet! It seems like just yesterday that they were born and now they are almost 2...CRAZY...but the older they get the closer they become and I love every little second!

This video cracks me up. Kai thinks he knows exactly what he's talking about :)
