Welp...its officially out in the open!

Yep thats right, in just one month our little family will be making the move back to California!

We are SUPER excited about:
1. Living near family.
2. Getting our residency back.
3. School, school and more school.  We will eventually be transferring to UCDAVIS and then we will see where we go for Med school.
4. Having more opportunities for Logan's future.
5. Did I mention we would live by family :)
6. BIG CITY!!
7.  Nice weather.
8.  We both LOVE California!!

We are FREAKING out about:
1. Cost of living.
2. Jobs.
3. Making the transition OUT of the bubble.
4. Moving...uggggh...its so expensive to even get out of here!
5. Change...does anybody else hate change...it makes me a nervous wreck!!

It's a CRAZY time for us CRAZY Tataipu's but we really wouldn't have it any other way.
Any moving tips?
Anyone getting rid of boxes?
Anyone know of a cheap way to move a ton of stuff?

We really could use all the help we can get!
California here we come!

California Picture OVERLOAD

Sometimes its hard just to pick a few pictures...SO I DIDN'T :)

The drive down to California was looong, but thankfully the kids were SO good...its almost as if they knew we were on our way to the happiest place on earth :)

We were greeted by Oma and Felicity and of course had to stop off at IN-N-OUT...it seriously never gets old!

 Great Grandparents are the BEST!

Oma brought us to this super fun local "water park" and unlike Rexburg Kai had it all to himself.

We then spent the day with Mema and Pepa and enjoyed the amazing Citrus Heights parade (no sarcasm, it really was one of the best parades I have ever seen).

 I LOOOOVE MY MOMMA!

Kai had a blast with Pepa.  He seriously screams his name around the house, so it was nice to let him get all of his Pepa time in!

My Dog Riley never went thirsty while Kai was around.

We have missed Kim SO much and LOVED being able to spend a little time with her.

These kids are so lucky!

My heart was so full as I was able to see all the family who came to our sweet Avery's blessing.  She was one lucky girl as she was surrounded by worthy priesthood holders who mean so much to us.

Avery's blessing day was seriously all I had dreamed...her beautiful white dress, BIG "blingin" head band and a sweet pearl bracelet...and to top it all off an AMAZING blessing.  I could feel Heavenly Father's love for our little girl and was so thankful she had a Daddy who could share that with us!

Thank you California..once again, you did not dissapoint!

Changing your hair is FUN TO DO....

Most of you know I am obsessed with changing my hair.  I love it and its much cheaper than buying an all new wardrobe when I'm sick of it :)  So thanks to my AWESOME husband I was able to have so much fun at the salon today!  LOVE YOU LOGAN!

I'm so glad when Daddy comes home...

Man are we lucky to have a day to celebrate the amazing men in our lives, I guess we should always do that!  I am stinkin' thankful to have a Dad who I adore, a husband who I am OBSESSED with, Grandpas who I look up to and brothers who are gonna be AMAZING Dads!

Today it was so fun to spend the day as a family...so fun that we had to have a little photo shoot :)

Kai loving on his Dad and trying to hit the camera at the same time :)

I have loved watching Logan with his little girl.

I am SO thankful for Logan!!  I always wanted my kids to have a Dad like I did...someone who was loving, thoughtful, funny and loved spending time with them.. THANKFULLY they are some DANG lucky kids and have all that and more!

And look what we finally caught on camera :) I love this little girl so much and LOVE that she loves to smile and coo...it makes the cries and late nights all worth it!

Happy Fathers day everyone!

Fun in the sun..

Things are going really well here.  We discover new things about both of our kiddos each day and we love it.  Kai is quite the little talker...attitude and all we love him tons.  He has also started singing lately and his voice is adorable!  Avery is doing well also.  We have started to learn her grumpy part of each day and are very thankful that it is short lived.  Also her acid reflux has been getting better each day, I've learned that I can't let her get too hungry or she will eat to fast and then throw it all up.  We just love them both to pieces and are so happy and content with our two kids.

Little sister is the best sleeper!  THANK HEAVENS!

Our summer in Idaho has had really random weather so when it is a nice day we hurry, get ready and get outside!
We were finally able to take Avery to church...I loved being there as a family of four.

I am in love with these faces...really, I am obsessed and try to kiss them all day!!

It is stares like these that remind me just how important our job as Mom's and Dad's are.  These sweet children look to us for everything.  I am far from the Mom I want to be, but I strive each day to be someone I wouldn't mind them looking up to.
