Brick HOUSE baby!!!

After my Mom's amazing triathlon, we dropped off the kids, so we could have a night out on the town!

Most of you know that I have a HUGE issue leaving my children...like we seriously NEVER go on a date alone...BUT my awesome parents bought us tickets to see "The Commodores" and "Kool and the Gang"....and I really think it would be CRIME to pass that up!  We grew up hearing all of their music, and I am pretty sure Brick house has been a family theme song for my WHOLE life...to say it was AMAZING would be a total understatement...it was SO MUCH FUN...I know I am not old, but I haven't felt that young in a long time...we danced, sang, cheered and fell in love with the music all over again!

We came home to sleeping children and HUGE smiles on our faces!  Thanks Mom and Dad for such a fun memory!

 My Mom is seriously a Rock Star!

A few weeks ago, our whole family (minus my brother on his mission) were able to get together and cheer my AMAZING Mom on as she accomplished her first triathlon, even my brother and soon to be sister in law Maddie made the drive down for the weekend. It was great!

The morning of the race I WAS SO NERVOUS....you would think Mom would be the nervous one, but I was SICK all morning long and the anticipation was killing me!!  Its nothing new though...I cried through EVERY ONE of my Mom's marathons...I am just a little protective :)

Bahahahahahhahaahahaha! Heather is always the life of the party!!

 My Dad is always there to give a sweet hug...My Mom and Dad ARE the cutest couple!!  Mom was PUMPED and ready to go!

Talmage and Kai are the best of friends.

I really could not have asked for them to have a better relationship.

They are happy together, silly together, funny together and even naughty together...and I love EVERY second of it!

The little Wiggy's come to town!

The Wiggy's are in town and I really couldn't be more stoked about it!  This was the first time they have been able to meet little Avery...and Kai SERIOUSLY couldn't wait to see Cousin Ev and T.

 Wow do I love this boy!  My nephews are by far the cutest in the world...and Mr Everett makes the world sooooo much brighter!!

There really is NOTHING like family.  We have missed everyone soooo much and can't wait for all of the memories we will be making with our kids..

Welp...its never a dull moment at this house...and when it is, you should definitely check on Kai, because odds are he is getting into something.

Unfortunately even at bedtime...quiet is usually a bad thing :)

Kai was quick to tell us that he was washing his hair...can you get mad at that face? Yep!  But at least he used logic right ?!? :)
