Home Stretch

Welp world...here I am...2 1/2 weeks left and shamelessly posting about this pregnancy for maybe the 2nd time :)

Part of me is in awe that in just a couple weeks I will see my 2nd little boy...while the other part of me wonders when pregnancy became so long. But we are SO excited to meet him and cuddle him and kiss him...gah, I can't wait!

So you want a pregnancy update?  Here we go.
*I am currently feeling baby like crazy. He is still much calmer than his brother or sister ever was but I love to feel the little kicks and jabs as he hears us talk to him.

*This baby is low low low! And I feel every little twitch of his head and can only walk for short distances without feeling his dismay.

*I am strep b positive again...boo. And besides having had a reaction last time to the meds for it I am just thankful for modern medication that can help him be safe during delivery.

*I am not really sleeping...between the bathroom and anxiety I am up and alert most of the night. Positive side of this is I am a really great thinker at night and can solve almost all of my problems...negative side is I rarely remember my master plan by morning :)

*I am gaining...and gaining.  Kai now tells people, "My Mom's too big to run!" thanks buddy!

*We are finally "kind of" prepared for his big entrance..the bags are almost packed and I had a blast folding all the teeny newborn clothes. I LOVE THEM!

*Have I mentioned how excited we are for his big entrance?  Kai talks about it non stop..Avery wants to be in the delivery room (ha, so not gonna happen), and Logan probably is tied for wanting to hold his sweet baby and having his semi normal wife back.

So, there you go...the update.
And hopefully an update to come soon with pictures of a new sweet little Tataipu

Who told?

Who told my baby she could be so big?
Who told her being a big sister meant she could grow up?
Who told her she could be miss independent?
Who told?

I am a little bitter my baby girl is not such a baby anymore.
Ok, so maybe I told her she was going to be a big sister, but I never thought she would actually listen to the BIG part.

Avery is my sweet, sassy, little cuddle bug.
She acts all innocent and then pounces on unexpecting prey :)

Avery decided a couple months ago that she wanted to be potty trained.
Not only did she stop going potty in a diaper during the day, but on day 1 Avery wore underwear all night long.. and hasn't stopped since.
She was an angel trainer...if you can even call it training.

Avery also rides her bike wherever we go.
I really should get her a "big girl" bike...but again in my eyes she is not BIG enough for that :)

Avery loves to talk and her new favorite phrase is,
"I do it by myself!"

Avery talks about her soon to be baby brother all the time.
Her most common things are, "I hold him all da time" "I miss da baby"  "He gonna cwy and I hold him!"....can't wait for my little helpers ;)

Love you my little big girl!

Say Cheese ;)

What do you do when you have all the family together at the same time with an anniversary, birthday, upcoming wedding and 3 pregnant sisters?
Pictures of course ;)

I am so thankful that my Mom and Dad scheduled sarajaneportraits.com to capture such a special moment in our family.
She was so kind and patient and we are so happy with the results.
If anyone wants pictures in the sacramento area you HAVE to call her!!!

31 years of marriage and still so in love!  Thank you for a beautiful example Mom and Dad.

3 sisters, all due 2 weeks apart.  2 Girls and a boy :)  Can't wait for cousin time!

I love my siblings so much! I feel so blessed to have such a special relationship with each of them.  Families are Forever!!

Holtry Family Reunion

The week following the McKee Reunion was the Holtry Reunion and lucky for us it was in Utah and only a couple hours away.

We started out the week (before the Ranch)  hanging out with Oma and her "friend" Paul.
I did the quotes just for you Oma :)

Then we were off to Reid Ranch for a fun filled week.

Grandma and Grandpa Holtry gave us this amazing quilt for our sweet baby.  Can't wait to cuddle him in it!

Family time is always the best!

Kai was a little obsessed with the bunk bed situation, he can't stop asking for me to get him one now.  And after finding a mouse in the room, i was VERY tempted to jump on top with him :)

I seriously could not get enough of the kids in their safety outfits..SO CUTE!

She was stoked...up until the pony moved haha

Kai loved every second of it. He wanted me nowhere near him so he could show me how big he was :)

I was so impressed with this Ranch.  This guy sat with Kai and taught him how to shoot the arrow all by himself and by the end he was actually hitting the target...he told the guy, "This is just like catching fire!" haha for the record he has never seen it..but he has seen the movie cover and knows his mommy is obsessed :)

Avery took a crack at it to :)

Kai and Frank found bugs and tormented to poor things...although they called it love :)

We had a blast on the paddle boats!

 Avery LOVED the karaoke night!

We love family time and love excuses to party together!  Thank you Holtry family for a great family reunion..see you all in two years :)
