Mom lessons.

I'm kind of a freak.

I'm afraid of almost everything.

I'm afraid of my kids getting hurt.

I'm afraid of germs.

I'm afraid of the unknown.

etc.

Well each week in California I would go to play group with amazing women who I really looked up to.

I was in awe of the calm way they parented.

Germs? Who cares!

Unknown? Let's discover!

Anyway, I felt I had grown a lot as a Mom by watching them parent.

But one playgroup took me to my limit.

A POND!!

Dirty? Yes. Unknown? Yes. Harmful? I didn't want to find out.

Thanks to my cheerleader Mom's I actually let Kai play in a pond.

And guess what? 

He LIVED!! And loved every second of it!

 Constantly learning...constantly growing...I call that, "Being a Mom."
